Introduction

The United Kingdom is made up of England , Scotland , Wales and Northern Ireland and for centuries has been a favorite destination for visitors from around the globe. Though small in size, the UK varies widely in all its aspects.


The landscapes of the United Kingdom vary from wild moors, lush forest, mountainous terrain, craggy coastlines and pristine places. Its people are a unique melting pot of different cultures, each mixing their own histories and traditions together.


The whole of UK is full of heritage, historic monuments, ancient ruins, magnificent castles and cathedrals, and brilliant gardens and parks. The UK cities are full of life, bustling, fantastic local cuisine, great nightlife, museums and galleries.


Each traveler makes this a great holiday destination with so much to attract. This guide is directed at the traveler enjoying the independence, comfort and versatility that comes with his or her own freedom.

Climate and Weather


The UK has a temperate climate, with plenty of year-round rainfall. Cloudy weather and light drizzle are common anytime of the year in nearly every part of the UK. Inland temperatures range from just below freezing in the winter depths to a high of 86o at summer height. Extreme weather is rare, however there may sometimes be snow, hail, heavy rains and heatwaves.


Who do you tip?


Tipping is widespread practice in the UK. Restaurants and cafes offering good service would expect a tip of about 10-15 per cent. No tip is required in pubs with food or beverages ordered and served at the bar, however a tip may be required for meals brought to your table.

Entertain yourself at Knightsbridge and Soho, be charmed by the plentiful green places and Royal Parks, and unwind at a traditional, cozy English pub in one of the world's undisputed biggest cities.


Nottinghamshire Be entertained at the Broadway Media Centre which dedicated to independent and world films; a great outing for film lovers. If you are getting bored during the travel switch to US Netflix from Anywhere in the the Kingdom and binge all your favorite shows and movies just like home.


Head to Great Yarmouth – This is one of the most popular seaside resorts in England, with beautiful beaches, entertainment and sights.
